I checked with my contact at Camco and they do not offer an accessory hose heater that can be added to a fresh water hose item such as # CAM22853. But they do offer heated water hoses that are available in various lengths.

That is heavily dependent on the specific application and proximity of heated pad to potentially combustible material. This heater pad is designed primarily for installation onto the bottom of exposed waste tanks, or steps. Yes, the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad # 277-000164 can be attached to the base of a black tank, grey tank or fresh water tank to help prevent the contents from freezing. The pad it thermostatically controlled and will turn on when it senses the temperature drop below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Once it reaches 67 degrees Fahrenheit it will turn back off. The pad has been tested in temperatures as low as negative 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This pad is 18-1/4" long and 12" wide.

I'm not sure of the exact reason why some of these don't have gaskets and I'm not aware of any reason why they don't include them; none of the caps we carry come with an actual gasket but there are some options that provide a better seal than others. Many of our Kodiak disc brake kits are made up of Dacromet and stainless steel components. Dacromet has a 400 to 600 hour salt spray rating while stainless steel is about as corrosion resistant as you can get.
